I have been working for Platinum Recruitment on and off over the last couple of years, and have seen them grow and evolve as an agency. In general I enjoy working for the agency, I receive shifts regularly (although you do need to call regularly to ask for shifts) and enjoy working at most of their locations. If there is a location I do not particularly enjoy I do not need to go back. Working with the flexibility of the agency has been perfect alongside my studies. Staff are always friendly, very helpful and they are always contactable - especially Andy, Rob and Tom Leech. There is a minimum shift time of 4 hours, which is great for an agency as it ensures clients cannot send you home without paying you at least 4 hours.

Having worked for platinum now for 3 years l have been able to travel around the country in many varied positions from duty restaurant bar and operations manager to name a few positions. From a castle in Scotland to the Randolph on Oxford l have enjoyed the variety of roles.

I will say that many of the hotels l have visited via Platinum have had other staff from different agencies working in conjunction with Platinum, but mostly TownGate, who are always trying to get me to join them. Unfortunately TownGate pay on average £2 less per hour as Platinum l am told by TG staff!
