You’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction by:
Receiving and accurately checking incoming parts and supplies.
Serving a large team of workshop technicians efficiently and liaising with Service Advisors and the Service Manager daily, providing feedback on spare parts availability.
Carrying out bi-annual inventory counts and storing spare parts in an orderly, accessible manner within the parts department, ensuring all work areas are clean and tidy.
Processing incoming requisitions and issuing or distributing parts and supplies for internal usage.
Maintaining accurate records of customer orders and amounts, ensuring part locations are correct and up-to-date on the dealer management system.
Preparing requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
Providing customer support and merchandising by selling spare parts and accessories for motor vehicles in a retail setting, both in person and over the telephone.
Advising retail customers and internal staff on the appropriateness of parts, supplies, or materials requested.
Managing and processing spare parts returns as required, and placing new merchandise on display.
Examining returned parts for defects, and exchanging defective parts or refunding money where authorised.
You are computer literate and enjoy working with computerised equipment, essential for administration tasks.
You pay close attention to detail and take pride in your daily duties in Tullamore.
You will provide a friendly, efficient service both in-house and to the general public.
You are a courteous individual who enjoys working indoors, able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Knowledge/experience within the Motor Trade would be desirable but isn’t essential.
Prior parts experience with Ford Ireland is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of Keyloop/Kerridge and Auto Vehicle Check would be desirable but isn’t essential.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy aftersales environment.
Full Clean Driving Licence.
