You’ll be crucial in maintaining efficiency and high standards by:
Supervising the daily running of the workshop, ensuring efficient job flow and timely completion of work.
Leading, motivating, and coaching a team of technicians, allocating work based on skills and workload.
Conducting quality checks to ensure all work meets company, manufacturer, and industry standards.
Managing parts inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary components for repairs.
Ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and providing reports to management.
Monitoring workshop performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Mentoring and training staff, supporting their professional development.
Ensuring a strong relationship with the parts department to maximise parts availability.
A great background in the HGV or Automotive industry.
Experience managing teams or offices, demonstrating your capabilities as a Manager.
Ability to be flexible with hours and days to meet workshop demands in Yeovil.
Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills.
