Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of hire operations, including:

• Coordinating equipment availability, allocation, and scheduling

• Maintaining accurate records of hire agreements, returns, and extensions

• Monitoring equipment utilisation and reporting on hire performance

• Liaising with clients, site managers, and transport teams to ensure timely deliveries

• Ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and company hire policies

• Processing invoices, payments, and hire documentation

• Resolving customer queries or disputes related to hire services

• Tracking maintenance schedules and coordinating servicing

• Supporting sales and operational teams with availability insights as a controller

What we’re looking for:

To succeed as a Hire Desk Controller, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience within a hire-based environment (sector flexible)

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Confidence managing documentation, schedules, and customer queries

• A proactive and reliable approach to supporting operations in Horsham
