Responsibilities for a Plumber

• Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance across building systems
• Perform mains water supply repairs and general plumbing work
• Identify faults and carry out repairs or replacement of life-expired equipment
• Conduct inspections, water sampling and risk assessments
• Diagnose faults and ensure repairs are completed safely and effectively
• Support wider maintenance activities where required

Requirements for a Plumber

• Proven experience working as a qualified plumber in a maintenance environment
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and fault-finding techniques
• Understanding of compliance and safety procedures
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working in a commercial or facilities environment is beneficial
