You’ll be responsible for servicing, inspecting and repairing a fleet of plant and HGV equipment within a workshop environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you’ll play an important role in keeping vital plant and HGV equipment maintained and operational.

• Service, maintain and repair a range of plant and HGV machinery

• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete effective repairs

• Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance

• Ensure work complies with LOLER / PUWER regulations and safety standards

• Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a practical and experienced engineer who is confident working on plant or HGV equipment.

• Experience working as a Plant Fitter or similar mechanical role

• Experience working on plant, construction equipment or HGV vehicles

• Strong understanding of LOLER / PUWER regulations

• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical qualification

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Full UK driving licence
