£48k for a mobile electrician covering West Midlands

Role: Mobile Electrician
Location: West Midlands
Shift: Days – 8am to 5pm
Salary: £41,705 (OTE £48k)

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Mobile Electrician based in the West Midlands.

This is a key role within a leading infrastructure and facilities firm, providing critical maintenance across secure premises. You will be part of a professional engineering team that values long-term career growth and technical expertise.

The Essentials:

• Money: Base salary £36,777 – £41,705 (DOE).
• Total Earnings: Potential for £48,000+ including 15% shift allowance and on-call.
• Hours: 39 hours per week (08:00 – 17:00).
• Work-Life Balance: 1 hour earlier finish every Friday.
• The Kit: Company Van provided for travel between sites.
• Location: Mobile role covering Redditch and Evesham

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Acting as the Responsible Person for electrical systems, managing isolation’s and permit-to-work processes.
• Reviewing electrical installation certification (EICRs, Minor Works) and producing technical documentation like RAMS and SOPs.
• Escalating defects and maintaining site risk registers to ensure 100% compliance.
• Assisting with escorting duties and following strict security protocols.

What You Will Bring:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations / ECS Gold Card.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) & AM2.
• BS7671 18th Edition (17th Edition considered with upskilling).
• Full UK Driving Licence and experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to pass Prison Security Clearance (full support provided).
