Key Responsibilities:
As Operations Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of a high-value, multi-site contract across Bristol, ensuring performance and compliance at every level:
- Take full ownership of a PFI contract, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
- Oversee Facilities Management service delivery across multiple sites
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and lifecycle planning
- Lead, develop, and support site-based teams and managers
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors to maintain high service standards
What we’re looking for:
To be successful as an Operations Manager in Bristol, you must have the following:
- Essential: Strong experience within Facilities Management (FM) and proven delivery of PFI contracts
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site operations
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving performance
- Proven ability to manage budgets and meet financial targets
- A recognised technical or FM qualification (IWFM, NEBOSH or similar preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A structured, compliance-focused approach with strong attention to detail
