We’re recruiting for a Service Controller to join a fast-paced operation in Horsham, offering a salary of up to £30,000 plus bonus. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has already worked within a hire company environment and understands the day-to-day demands of coordinating engineers, equipment, and service schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Controller, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly:

• Schedule and allocate work for field and workshop engineers
• Coordinate PPM, servicing, and statutory inspections
• Manage breakdowns, prioritising urgent jobs efficiently
• Liaise with suppliers to order and track parts
• Keep customers and internal teams updated on progress
• Maintain accurate service and compliance records
• Process job sheets, check labour hours, and support invoicing

What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a Service Controller, you’ll need relevant industry experience:

• Experience as a Service Controller, Hire Controller, or Service Administrator
• Background within a hire company or similar sector (plant, HGV, forklift, agriculture, powered access, crane, or automotive)
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
