Key Responsibilities:
As an HGV Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping the fleet operating safely and efficiently by:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using specialist equipment
- Completing inspections and safety checks in line with DVSA standards
- Repairing and replacing defective components and systems
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and testing
- Maintaining accurate service and repair documentation
- Following workshop health & safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician
- Level 3 qualificatied
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
