We’re recruiting for a Service Technician to join a well-established construction equipment business based in Maldon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of construction machinery, carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs while supporting customers across the region. Key Responsibilities

As a Service Technician in Maldon, you will:

• Service, maintain and repair a range of construction and plant equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and breakdown repairs.
• Complete warranty, internal and customer repair work to a high standard.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and health & safety requirements.
• Accurately complete service documentation and inspection reports.
• Maintain company tools and workshop equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support when required.

What we’re looking for

To be successful as a Service Technician in Maldon, you’ll ideally have:

• Experience servicing or repairing construction plant, heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs or similar mechanical equipment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
