Key Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in keeping maintenance operations running smoothly by:
- Leading and supporting a team delivering reactive maintenance across the site
- Planning workloads and ensuring repair requests are completed efficiently
- Monitoring work quality while maintaining high safety and compliance standards
- Responding to urgent maintenance issues and coordinating resources effectively
- Working closely with site stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met
- Reviewing maintenance data to identify recurring issues and drive improvements
- Supporting operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this Facilities Team Leader role, you’ll ideally have:
- Previous supervisory experience within Facilities, building services or estate maintenance
- Experience coordinating reactive maintenance activities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices
- Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of building fabric and mechanical or electrical maintenance
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification would be advantageous
