Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in keeping maintenance operations running smoothly by:

• Leading and supporting a team delivering reactive maintenance across the site
• Planning workloads and ensuring repair requests are completed efficiently
• Monitoring work quality while maintaining high safety and compliance standards
• Responding to urgent maintenance issues and coordinating resources effectively
• Working closely with site stakeholders to ensure operational requirements are met
• Reviewing maintenance data to identify recurring issues and drive improvements
• Supporting operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this Facilities Team Leader role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous supervisory experience within Facilities, building services or estate maintenance
• Experience coordinating reactive maintenance activities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices
• Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of building fabric and mechanical or electrical maintenance
• IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification would be advantageous
