Key Responsibilities

As a Workshop Forklift Engineer, your duties will include:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Conducting safety inspections and compliance checks
• Repairing electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts
• Completing breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
• Working on a variety of warehouse and industrial handling equipment

Skills & Experience Required

Applications are welcomed from engineers with backgrounds in:

• Forklift
• Plant
• HGV
• Powered Access
• Agricultural

Essential Skills:

• Strong mechanical and fault-finding abilities
• Experience with hydraulics, electrics, and diesel systems
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or Vehicle Repair beneficial but not a deal breaker if you don’t have this
