Mobile Plant Fitter – Woodford Green | Up to £41,000 + Overtime + Van

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business covering Woodford Green and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied field-based role, with ongoing training, strong benefits and long-term development.

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you’ll visit customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs across a range of construction and agricultural machinery. You’ll also have workshop support when required and the opportunity to broaden your technical experience.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural machinery

• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults

• Carrying out breakdown repairs at customer sites

• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance

• Identifying further repair requirements and discussing these with customers

• Completing service documentation and job sheets

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

• Providing professional customer service

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or similar

• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills

• Experience working with construction or agricultural machinery

• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics

• The ability to work independently and manage breakdowns effectively

• A full UK driving licence

• An engineering qualification or apprenticeship is desirable
