We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join an established Service Department in Woodbridge, Suffolk. This is a varied role where you’ll be the key link between customers and technicians, helping to ensure repairs and maintenance are managed smoothly from start to finish.

You’ll work closely with the Service Manager, Parts and Warranty teams while building strong customer relationships and developing your knowledge of agricultural, construction and groundcare machinery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Advisor, you’ll help keep the Service Department running efficiently while ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

• Act as the main point of contact between customers and technicians.
• Provide administrative support to the Service Manager.
• Manage customer accounts and build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Prepare job cards and maintain accurate service records.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair and maintenance process.
• Liaise with the Parts Department to help ensure repairs are completed on time.
• Work with the Warranty Department to ensure processes are followed correctly.
• Prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks within a busy environment.
• Handle customer and company information with discretion.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites using a company vehicle to collect or return equipment.

• Previous experience within a Service Department is desirable, or a good understanding of service operations.
• Experience within the agricultural, construction, horticultural or automotive sectors would be advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• A self-motivated approach with the confidence to use your own initiative.
• The ability to make decisions and respond quickly when required.
• A positive and professional attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Comfortable working across both office and workshop environments.
• A full UK driving licence.
