Platinum Recruitment are recruiting a Yard Operative in Farnham, Surrey, to join a busy workshop team. If you enjoy practical work, have an eye for detail & are comfortable working around machinery, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Keeping the yard clean, safe & organised

• Coordinating machinery deliveries, collections & transport

• Loading & unloading machinery

• Checking machinery for damage, missing attachments & paintwork issues

• Ensuring machines match specifications & sales orders

• Checking attachments, equipment & paperwork before dispatch

• Arranging pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a yard, workshop, transport or machinery-related role

• Good organisational skills & attention to detail

• Confidence working around machinery & coordinating deliveries

• A reliable, practical approach to work

• Good communication skills & the ability to work as part of a team

• Experience with machinery inspections or DMS Titan would be advantageous
