Our expanding Healthcare Division is working with a beautiful nursing home in Chipping Norton which is part of a award wining large care home group. The home is looking after Elderly residents with dementia – they have 61 residents at this home.

Salary – £49,000

What’s involved?

• Supporting the Home Manager with admissions, ongoing assessments, and resident discharges.
• Assisting with budgeting and resource allocation.
• Representing the care home in liaison with external agencies, families, and the public.
• Participating in on-call duties to cover for the manager’s absence.
• Overseeing the development, implementation, and review of resident care plans
• Ensuring resident’s physical and mental health needs are met
• Working with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver clinical care
• In some cases, providing direct resident care as part of the team
• Leading and supervising a team of caregivers
• Providing coaching and mentoring to staff
• Participating in staff recruitment and development
• Conducting performance appraisals
• Scheduling and running staff meetings

Ideal Candidate

• A registered nurse (RN) or other relevant healthcare qualification.
• Proven experience in a care home setting, preferably in a similar leadership role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care.
• Strong commitment to upholding regulatory standards and best practices.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and motivate others.
• IT literate and proficient in record keeping.
• Driving License required
