Role: Crane Engineer

Basic Salary: up to £50,000
Additional Benefits: Van + Fuel Card + Paid Door to Door + Overtime = 1.5 rate

Platinum Recruitment is working with a Crane Hire company to find their next Crane Engineer to join their established team covering Manchester and the North West.

Your responsibilities as a Crane Engineer will include:

• Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of mobile and mini cranes
• Erection and dismantling of cranes on customer sites
• Completing inspections to keep machinery in line with legal requirements
• Liaising with service and hire controllers to ensure that machinery is maintained to a high standard, on their specified schedules

Experience essential for this role as a Crane Engineer

• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• Level 3 NVQ in a Mechanical Engineering discipline (or equivalent)
• A good understanding of Hydraulic, Electric and Mechanical systems
• Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing Cranes
• Experience completing LOLER inspections
