Join a Leading MoD contractor that operate a fleet of specialist HGV Class 1 Heavy Equipment Transport vehicles for an MoD contract in Richmond, North Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified HGV Technician. Candidates will need to train as a military Army Reservist.

Responsibilities:

As a HGV Technician Your time is divided between using your knowledge of maintaining heavy vehicles to repair transporters in peacetime and serving as a sponsored army reservist. Your primary role will be fleet maintenance of Heavy Equipment Transporters on behalf of the Army. This will involve some UK and possibly Germany travel. As a Sponsored Reservist you will take part in Military Training and Exercises.

Experience required:

• Fully qualified HGV Technician, City and Guilds or NVQ level 3.
• Experience across a wide range of commercial vehicles and equipment.
• No more than 6 points on your licence. C + E class 1 licence is beneficial.
• You will need to be medically and physically fit to meet the Army training requirements.
• Previous Military experience desirable, but not essential. Serving Regulars or Reservists are strongly encouraged to apply.
