Key Responsibilities:

As a key part of the depot team in Castleford, you’ll:

• Handle incoming calls and manage customer enquiries efficiently
• Process hire orders from start to finish with accuracy
• Coordinate deliveries and collections to meet customer needs
• Liaise with drivers, workshop teams, and other depots
• Maintain accurate records for hires, returns, and transfers
• Maximise sales opportunities through excellent service
• Ensure all hired equipment meets safety and testing standards
• Keep the hire desk organised and running smoothly

What we’re looking for:

To succeed as a Hire Desk Controller, you’ll need:

• Experience as a hire controller within plant, tool hire, or a similar environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confidence working in a fast-paced controller role
• Good IT and administrative skills
• A proactive and organised approach to your workload
• A full UK driving licence
