Injection Moulding Setter – Mere | Competitive £35,000 salary, shift allowance & onsite gym

We’re looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a well-established manufacturing team in Mere. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background as an Injection Moulding Technician or Mould Setter to work in a supportive environment, develop their skills, and contribute to high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:
In this hands-on role, you’ll be ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently:

• Set up machines to specification and action manufacturing plans

• Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues

• Safely install mould tools and oversee machine setup to ensure product quality

• Monitor materials and production stocks used by operators

• Maintain clean and safe workspaces, following H&S procedures

• Check product quality against specifications and implement remedial actions

• Support and train operators on best manufacturing practices

• Communicate daily with the Mouldings Manager on technical issues affecting production

• Encourage efficient and effective working practices across the team

What we’re looking for:
We want someone who can hit the ground running and support production excellence:

• Professional qualification in Injection Moulding and Automated systems (E)

• Understanding of general manufacturing practices (E)

• Technical experience operating injection moulding machines (8 years desirable)

• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines

• Good written and verbal communication

• Awareness of Health & Safety practices

• IT and manufacturing systems knowledge
