Responsibilities for an MOT Tester

• Carry out detailed MOT tests on vehicles to ensure full compliance with legal standards.
  Use hand and power tools efficiently to perform essential repairs and adjustments.
  Keep precise records of inspections, repairs, and any issues discovered during testing.
  Provide clear communication to customers, offering repair recommendations when needed.
  Ensure the workshop remains clean, organised, and safe at all times.
  Assist with the handling and lifting of vehicle components during testing and repairs.

Requirements for MOT Tester

• Valid MOT Tester certificate for Class 4 and 7 vehicles.
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Commitment to providing high-quality service to customers.
