Due to their continued expansion, our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a nurturing nursery environment, while simultaneously working towards your NVQ/Childcare qualifications. This is the perfect stepping stone for anyone looking to build a successful career in early years education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting experienced nursery practitioners in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
• Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Engaging in outdoor play and exploration, fostering children’s curiosity and love for nature.
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Undertaking and completing your NVQ/Childcare qualification, gaining practical experience and theoretical knowledge.
• Assisting with meal times and general nursery duties.

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop your childcare skills.
• A GCSE in English (essential for NVQ Qualification).
• A driving licence and access to a car (beneficial due to the nursery’s location).
