Our Bournemouth based sister company, Platinum Components Ltd is seeking a seasoned Product Manager / Sales Lead to spearhead the growth of strategic product lines, deepen vendor relationships, and drive sustained revenue performance across our B2B channels.

  • Salary: £38,000 p/a
  • Commission: Uncapped
  • Year 1 OTE: £50,000


Role Overview
This is a senior commercial role blending product ownership, market strategy, and high-impact sales execution. You will oversee a portfolio of IT and CE hardware, serve as a key interface between vendors and the sales team, and play a pivotal role in shaping category growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end life-cycle management for a core portfolio of technology products (e.g., computing, components, displays, networking, peripherals)
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with category growth targets
  • Cultivate and expand vendor partnerships to maximise commercial leverage and rebate structures
  • Deliver structured pricing, stock forecasting, and promotional planning in collaboration with purchasing and logistics
  • Lead customer acquisition and relationship management for high-value reseller and distribution accounts
  • Monitor market intelligence to identify trends, emerging technologies, and margin opportunities
  • Serve as a commercial lead in cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, and marketing teams

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in IT/CE hardware distribution, vendor management, or commercial product roles
  • Strong knowledge of the B2B tech supply chain, distribution economics, and partner ecosystems
  • A commercially driven mindset with a demonstrable track record in sales growth, vendor negotiations, and strategic account development
  • Analytical fluency in pricing, gross margin planning, and inventory controls
  • Comfortable working with ERP/CRM platforms and data tools to support decision-making
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, internally and externally
  • Entrepreneurial energy and a proactive, results-first leadership style
