As a Relief Chef you’ll be part of a caring, professional hospice environment, preparing nutritious meals and snacks for hospice patients. This role offers a full time position, ongoing on a temporary basis and the chance to make a difference every day – ideal if you’re looking for a fulfilling position without late nights or split shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and cooking healthy, balanced meals and snacks.
• Following the hospice menus that meet the residents dietary requirements.
• Catering for allergies, special diets, and cultural preferences.
• Maintaining high food hygiene and safety standards at all times.

What we’re looking for

• Experience working as a Relief Chef or Cook (Care home/hospice experience is desired).
• Holds an Enhanced Adult DBS (current or on the update service).
• Possess a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Food Allergen Certificate.
• Are reliable, organised, and passionate about cooking nutritious meals for patients.
