Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the crucial link in our operations, ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and our workshop team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling Service Documentation: You’ll accurately prepare job cards and generate invoices, making sure they align with completed work and manufacturer standards. You’ll use our internal DMS system and various external customer platforms for authorisations.
  • Customer Engagement: Whether it’s answering phone calls or assisting customers face-to-face at the Service Reception counter, you’ll handle all inquiries efficiently and professionally.
  • Team Collaboration: You’ll work closely with our expert technicians, fostering clear communication to ensure a smooth workflow in the workshop.
  • Workload Oversight: You’ll actively manage the shift’s workload, ensuring that all customer expectations are met and deadlines are hit.
  • Booking and Scheduling: You’ll oversee daily service bookings, striving for optimal workshop efficiency and scheduling.
  • Subcontractor Management: This involves arranging work with subcontractors and following up to ensure timely completion.
  • Proactive Customer Communication: You’ll keep customers in the loop every step of the way, providing clear updates on their requests, costs, and securing necessary authorisations.
  • Estimate Creation: You’ll prepare precise, clear, and prompt estimates for all service and repair work.
  • Optimising Workshop Flow: By managing service department bookings, you’ll ensure the workshop is loaded efficiently, always prioritising attentive and high-quality service for every customer.
