Salary + OTE £39,000 – 22 days annual leave + B/Hols

My client in Wincanton is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 2 qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience or be a qualified Level 3 technician. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and inspections.
• Carry out MOT tests (if qualified).
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work space.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Level 2 automotive qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience or Level 3 qualification.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge of vehicles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Full UK driving license.
