Role: Yard Operative

Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 per annum

Responsibilities for an Yard Operative

• Load and unload machinery from lorries safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing machinery
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is correctly signed and forwarded to the appropriate personnel
• Clean customer machinery before and/or after repairs
• Carry out cleaning and detailing of new machinery to agreed standards
• Prepare machines for hire or loan, including cleaning and fluid level checks
• Complete and obtain signatures for all relevant hire-related documentation
• Prepare machinery for photography and take high-quality images of new and used equipment as per company standards

Requirements for an Yard Operative

• Full UK licence
• Forklift licence would be beneficial
• Can do attitude
• Knowledge of Agricultural machinery
