“I cycled 310 miles along the Nile in Egypt and 250 miles from London to Paris for Charity. I was also persuaded to take part in a bungee jump next to the O2 arena in London. I hate heights.”

Career

Emma’s career in marketing began in France in 2013 where she studied for a professional business degree, in French, having only lived in the country for one year.  Diploma in the bag, she went on to work for a 3-star golf club, hotel, and restaurant as Marketing and Communications Manager.

After the birth of her daughter, Emma was approached by a Book Publisher and for the next five years managed their Children’s and Young Adult imprints. It was here that her love of the written word, in particular copywriting, began. Relocating back to Britain in 2020 a friend recommended Platinum as ‘the place to be’ and the rest is history.

Social

Emma is the original hostess with the mostest (also known as a feeder.) Destined to be born in the belle epoque era of the 1920s, Emma loves hunting for old treasures at antique fairs, in particular, old books (much to her daughter’s despair). Her ideal day would consist of family brunch (pancakes, bacon, blueberries, and great coffee), walking around a vintage market or craft fair taking lots of photos for Instagram as she goes, and finishing off with some live acoustic music and a glass of botanical gin.
