We’re recruiting a passionate Care Home Head Chef to lead the kitchen within a high-end care home setting in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Care Home Head Chef who enjoys creating fresh, high-quality meals while building meaningful relationships with residents in Blackburn.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Care Home Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by:

• Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen operation
• Preparing fresh, high-quality meals with excellent presentation
• Creating menus tailored to residents’ preferences and dietary needs
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and IDDSI standards
• Leading and motivating the kitchen team to maintain high standards
• Building positive relationships with residents and engaging with them regularly about food choices

What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a passionate kitchen leader who brings:

• Previous experience managing kitchens within a care home or healthcare environment
• Strong fresh food background with luxury or fine dining experience
• Knowledge and understanding of IDDSI guidelines
• Experience working as a Chef Manager or supporting at Executive Chef level
• A proactive, friendly, and team-focused approach
• Genuine passion for food quality, presentation, and resident experience
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
