Key Responsibilities

As Head Chef, you’ll lead the kitchen team and will:

• Manage and motivate Chefs and Catering Assistants
• Organise rotas, objectives and training
• Deliver tasty, nutritious and safe meals
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and allergen standards
• Manage dietary requirements, including allergies and intolerances
• Oversee production planning, stock, waste and financial management

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced kitchen leader with:

• Experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a mid-to-large scale dining environment
• Experience with food mass production
• Strong leadership, organisation and decision-making skills
• Excellent food hygiene and allergen knowledge
• City & Guilds 7061/2 or equivalent
• Level 3+ Food Safety and Allergen Management qualifications
