We’re recruiting an Area Sales Manager in Maldon to develop existing accounts and win new business across the surrounding area. You’ll have the opportunity to grow sales, build lasting customer relationships and take ownership of your territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established customer base.
• Sell professional horticultural machinery and equipment.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow sales.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable equipment.
• Negotiate sales and work towards targets.
• Plan customer visits and manage your territory effectively.

What we’re looking for

• Previous sales experience, ideally within horticulture, groundcare, agricultural or construction machinery.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A confident, commercially minded approach to winning business.
• Good organisational skills and IT knowledge.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
