We’re recruiting an Assembler in Poole, Dorset to join a well-established electronics manufacturer producing high-quality PCB and electronic assemblies.

  Key Responsibilities

  As an Assembler in Poole, Dorset, you’ll be responsible for precision electronic and PCB production work, including:

  • Hand soldering electronic components to a high standard
  • PCB assembly (SMT and through-hole processes)
  • Working with fine-pitch components with accuracy and care
  • Mechanical assembly of electronic units and enclosures
  • Cable preparation, crimping, and wiring tasks
  • Inspecting, testing, and quality checking completed assemblies
  • Rework and modification of electronic boards where required
  • Working from technical drawings, BOMs, and build instructions

  What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing
  • Strong hand soldering skills, including fine-pitch components
  • Good understanding of SMT and through-hole processes
  • High attention to detail and steady manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow technical drawings and instructions
  • A reliable, team-focused approach in a production setting
