Are you an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a strong salary and plenty of overtime? This role offers the chance to work independently across Sheffield and the surrounding area, maintaining a varied range of forklift trucks while developing your skills through manufacturer training.

What will you be doing?

As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you’ll visit customer sites across South Yorkshire to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, helping to keep equipment safe and operational.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklift trucks.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Ensuring equipment is safe and compliant with relevant standards.

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from engineers with practical experience and a good understanding of mechanical or electrical maintenance.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience as a forklift engineer or within a similar engineering role.
• A relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification (preferred, but not essential).
• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A reliable, customer-focused approach to your work.
