Key Responsibilities
As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Servicing, repairing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklift trucks
Carrying out on-site repairs and preventative maintenance
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
Attending customer sites to investigate and resolve breakdowns
Ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant with industry standards
Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from engineers with a strong mechanical background and experience working on machinery. Ideally, you’ll have:
Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or in a similar engineering role
Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
An NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential)
A full UK driving licence
The ability to work independently and manage your workload
A proactive and customer-focused approach
