Key Responsibilities
As a Part Time Finance Assistant, you’ll support the finance function by:
- Managing day-to-day finance activities
- Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Running BACS payments and supplier payment runs
- Completing payroll reconciliations
- Authorising invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing shared finance inboxes
- Supporting budget administration and financial reporting
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this Part Time Finance Assistant role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts position
- Strong purchase ledger and reconciliation experience
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- A proactive and team-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working in a busy office environment
- Good knowledge of finance systems and Microsoft Excel
