Parts Advisor – Horsham | £30,000 salary, Monday-Friday hours & clear progression

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting customers and internal teams by ensuring the right parts are supplied efficiently:

• Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, offering advice and processing orders by phone, email, or face-to-face

• Accurately identifying and cataloguing components using EPC systems and technical manuals

• Managing stock levels, completing stocktakes, and ensuring availability of fast-moving machinery parts

• Sourcing components from manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating for cost-effective purchasing

• Receiving deliveries, checking for discrepancies, and organising outbound despatch

• Supporting engineers and service teams to keep jobs running on schedule within a plant hire environment

• Handling invoices, returns, warranty claims, and maintaining accurate system records

• Keeping the parts counter and display areas clean, organised, and sales-focused

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who brings reliability, organisation, and strong communication skills:

• Previous experience in a parts, service, or technical support role

• Confidence using computer systems and electronic catalogues

• A strong eye for detail and good organisational skills

• Comfortable dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
