We’re recruiting for a Parts Advisor in Benington to support customers and technicians with parts enquiries, process orders and ensure a smooth, efficient service. Key Responsibilities:

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly by supporting customers and technicians with their parts requirements. You’ll provide friendly, professional service while ensuring orders are processed accurately and enquiries are handled efficiently.

• Respond to parts enquiries face to face, over the telephone and by email
• Process customer orders and arrange the dispatch of parts
• Support technicians and customers with product information and availability
• Provide accurate information about products and services
• Assist with sales and work towards relevant targets
• Handle cash and card payments accurately where required
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Work collaboratively with colleagues while using your own initiative when needed

What we’re looking for:

You’ll be confident dealing with customers, comfortable working in a busy environment and keen to develop your knowledge of parts and products.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of agricultural, construction, horticultural or motor trade parts would be advantageous
• Customer service experience, ideally within a retail or showroom environment
• A good understanding of sales and customer requirements
• Confident using computers, email and the internet
• Strong numeracy, literacy and attention to detail
• The ability to remain organised and professional during busy periods
• A team-focused approach, with the confidence to work independently
• A proactive attitude, with an interest in sales and achieving targets
• A smart, presentable appearance and a professional manner

Hours and working pattern:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• 39 basic hours per week
• Saturdays worked on a rota
• Overtime paid at time and a half after completing 39 hours Monday to Friday
