Key Responsibilities:

In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Scheduling and allocating work for field and workshop engineers

• Planning and coordinating all PPM and statutory inspections

• Logging, prioritising, and managing breakdowns and defect reports

• Ordering, tracking, and managing spare parts from suppliers

• Keeping the hire desk and customers updated on repair progress and downtime

• Maintaining accurate service, maintenance, and compliance records

• Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety and industry standards

• Processing job sheets, checking labour hours, and handling service invoices

What we’re looking for:

To succeed as a Service Administrator, you’ll ideally bring:

• A background in service environments such as plant, agriculture, powered access, construction, forklifts, automotive, or HGV

• Previous experience in an Administrator or service coordination role

• Strong organisational skills and confidence managing multiple priorities

• Clear communication skills with engineers, suppliers, and customers

• A good understanding of service workflows and technical admin processes
