About the Company

We are working with an award-winning, nationwide Plant Hire company with a strong presence in Horsham. The company is renowned for delivering a complete range of plant machinery and equipment hire services, we are now looking for a experienced Service Controller to continue the ongoing growth of our client.

Your responsibilities as a Service Controller will include:

• Coordinate the servicing, maintenance, and inspection schedule for plant equipment
• Manage delivery and collection of machinery in line with customer bookings
• Liaise with hire desk and workshop teams to ensure fleet readiness
• Maintain accurate records of all equipment movements, defects, and servicing
• Monitor hire periods and follow up on overdue returns
• Ensure compliance with safety and legal inspection requirements
• Support the preparation of hire documentation, including contracts and invoices
• Handle customer queries regarding plant servicing, breakdowns, or availability

Requirements

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of plant equipment and service intervals is preferred but not desired
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence required
