Service Coordinator – Hull | Up to £29,000 + Monday-Friday Hours & Career Progression

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Service Coordinator who has experience within the forklift, materials handling, plant hire, or engineering sectors and understands the importance of keeping engineers, customers, and service schedules running efficiently.

Based in Hull, this role offers the chance to join a well-established business where you’ll play a vital role in supporting the service operation while benefiting from a stable Monday-to-Friday working pattern and opportunities for long-term development.

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the service department by:

  • Scheduling and allocating work to field and workshop engineers
  • Coordinating planned maintenance, servicing, and inspections
  • Managing breakdown calls and prioritising urgent jobs
  • Liaising with customers, engineers, and suppliers
  • Ordering and tracking parts required for repairs and maintenance
  • Providing updates on job progress and completion times
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
  • Processing job sheets and supporting the wider service team with administrative tasks

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, or similar role
  • Experience within the forklift, materials handling, plant hire, engineering, HGV, or related industry
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
