Yard Coordinator – Farnborough | £28,000+ + Overtime

£28,000+ starting salary, varied responsibilities and the opportunity to build your experience within a busy workshop and depot environment.

We’re looking for a Yard Coordinator to join a busy workshop team in Farnborough. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in keeping the yard organised, supporting machine movements and making sure equipment is ready for customers and transport.

You’ll work closely with the workshop and transport teams, gaining valuable experience across machine preparation, deliveries, collections and general depot operations.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll help keep the yard running efficiently and ensure machines are prepared correctly for delivery and collection.

• Coordinate machine movements around the yard and workshop
• Load and unload new, used and workshop machines
• Prepare machines and attachments for customer dispatch
• Complete final checks before machines leave the depot
• Check fuel levels, attachments, certificates and third-party equipment
• Ensure machines are correctly positioned and ready for transport
• Record videos of machines before dispatch
• Check incoming machines for specification, damage, paintwork and attachments
• Book machines in using the Titan DMS system
• Support the workshop with PDI schedules and machine preparation
• Keep the yard clean, organised and well maintained
• Greet incoming delivery vehicles and ensure they are parked correctly
• Carry out basic machine and depot checks as required

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is practical, organised and comfortable working in a hands-on depot environment.

• Previous experience in a yard, workshop, transport or plant environment would be beneficial
• An interest in construction or plant machinery
• Comfortable moving machinery, parts and attachments around a depot
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work to deadlines and manage changing priorities
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
• Flexible and willing to get involved across the depot
• TLT experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided
• Full UK driving licence preferred
